No flashing flags, no foreign languages ... this website is in English.  Why?  Because SBC concentrates on supplying UK companies with translations both into and out of English.  However, if you would like to see a website we have translated then call us and we will give you the address of a client site for you to look at.

SBC has been a full member of the Association of Translation Companies for many years and Cherie Plaice, Director, is an ATC Council member.  The ATC is a member of EUATC (European Union of the Associations of Translation Companies).  Our staff include members of The Institute of Translating and Interpreting and The Institute of Linguists, the two UK translation and interpreting benchmark bodies. All these professional associations' ethics are adhered to.

We now are also complying with the new British and European Standard for Translation Service Providers (BS EN 15038) which was published in 2007.
